There are numerous studies supporting the importance of spiritual health and wellness. Spiritual enlightenment allows girls to connect with other like minded individuals while acknowledging and appreciating their individual journeys’. Self-confidence, spiritual health and community involvement can be used as coping mechanisms when combatting life’s challenges.
